For Referring Doctors

Our office specializes only in Orthodontics, and we like to work closely with a patient's family dentist to ensure that the patient receives complete, high-quality dental care.

If you are considering referring a patient to us for an Orthodontic Consultation, here are some things you should know about our practice:

• At the beginning of treatment, detailed and informative letters for each patient are sent to their family dentist.

• Our wide open treatment area is accessible from the reception room, so that parents can be present when their child is being treated. We find that this helps involve the parents more in treatment, and encourages open communication about all phases
  of treatment.

• Dr. Atkinson sees every patient at every appointment, as well as placing and removing all of the braces himself. This ensures that treatment progresses as smoothly and quickly as possible.

• We encourage all of our patients to return to their family dentist twice a year for their regular cleanings and examinations. We do our best between those check-ups to make sure our patients' oral hygiene is the best it can be.

• Our friendly and caring staff is highly trained, not only in orthodontic techniques, but also in oral hygiene.
